Marriage (Think: Princess Bride)

So yesterday I'm at the UPS Store and they have these cards that make me laugh so hard. I must be getting old because I swear my grandmas used to get us cards with animals on them and I would be like, "oh, that's funny...thanks for the card." I just didn't get it.

Now, for some reason, it's flippin' hilarious to me to see an animal card. (Assuming no animals are injured in the making of such cards, mind you.)

I couldn't find a photo of the two cards I bought (of course I had to do more than just laugh at them). But . . .

The first one is a wedding card for Lindsay (from our Carbon Canyon ward) who's getting married today. I worked in the Young Women's group when Lindsay was a teenager. (Yes, she's getting married at 16--which makes me like 24. LOL!) (Congratulations, Lindsay!!!)

At any rate, earth to Dawn, the card.

The card has two Boston Terriers in a convertible, dressed in wedding attire. Everytime I look at the card, I seriously split my side laughing (I do the same when I see Paigey hula-hoop.). The dogs eyes are SOOOOOO big--they look happy, even. Boston Terriers are the perfect wedding photo dogs.

The second card I bought "just because." (Yup--spent the whole 2.50 and didn't feel an ounce of guilt.) On the front is a Persian or Himalyan cat doing some crazy yoga pose. He's has grey poofy fur and looks ticked.

The inside of the card is SO me:

"I meditate, I do yoga, I chant . . . and still I want to smack someone!"

I think I'm going to start spending my freetime in card stores (cool ones). It's cheaper than going to a comedy club--and almost as fun(ny).
