How Brilliant am I?

I'll tell you how brilliant:

I charged my camera battery before the kids' play performance this past Friday night and then packed the camera sans battery!

Nothing like trying to capture a Kodak moment, only to find the blasted camera won't open. Bleeppity-bleep, that's frustrating.

Oh, well, enough about me.

The kids did such a great job in their performance(s). They were the best flying monkey and munchkins ever. And we are really proud of them for being a part of it (they went through the auditions and then rehearsed for two months!).

It really was an incredible production. Over 200 people in our community participated, mostly children and pre-teens, but lots of adults too. So much went into the directing, rehearsing, sets, costumes, etc. It was really neat (could I use a more bland adjective?) to see so many neighbors and friends in it.

Lullabye leaguer, munchkin school-girl, and munchkin secretary.

Beautiful girls.

PS: Mom and Dad, thanks for the Twilight bracelet. Love it!
