(Dia de los madres flores. Yes, the syntax is off. I'm just bilingual-ish.)Mother's Day just ended yesterday here at the casa de pumpkin. My mom and dad sent me an extra special gift. Yup--the Official Stephanie Meyer Twilight Bracelet. It's a really cool silver charm bracelet with two charms: one bronzed wolf/Jacob and one crystal heart/Edward. Now I can relive the love story every darn day of my life! Is that the best gift ever? I love it.
In keeping with the Stephanie Meyer theme, Dave gave me her new book for Mother's Day: The Host. It's safe to say it's scaring the crap out of me; but, I love it nevertheless. I'm not really a sci-fi reader, but I'll muddle through anything if there's a chance of finding another Edward out there somewhere. (Sorry all you Jacob-fans. Jacob is so yesterday for me.)
