On Being Bored

I can remember when I was a kid and bored, my mom would tell me that her grandma made her clean her room when she said, "I'm bored!"

It's funny. I must have been a complainer as a kid because honestly, our kids don't say they are bored all that often.

As a result, their rooms are a wreck! (Just kidding.)

So yesterday was a day when I think I would have said, "I'm bored" as a kid. It was windy, rainy, even snowy at times. We weren't able to really be outside.

Here's how they kept from being bored:

And of course, making pizza! (French bread--to shake it up a bit.)
