Webkins Shembkins

Well, balance has been restored to the universe, the girls finally have their own Webkins.

What's a Webkins, you ask?

It's a Beanie Babie for Generation Z. (Translation = A stuffed animal you buy at a store, adopt, and register online--which opens up an entire online community for your pet. Online, your pet plays, eats, sleeps, etc. Heaven knows a stuffed animal can't do those things in "real life.")

What's Generation Z?

Well, according to Wikipedia--the most reliable encyclopedia on the web--LOL:

* Generation Z are those people born from 1995 to the end of 2009.

* They are the next generation after Generation Y (today’s teenage and twentysomethings).

* They are largely the children of Generation X (me!).

* They are in their childhood, although at the oldest edge they are approaching their teenage years.

* They are today’s children and students, and tomorrow’s employees and leaders.

* They are history's first 21st Century generation - the digital natives, the dot com kids, Generation Media.

Sidenote: Just for the record, Jonah is on the bubble for Generation Z, so of course, he wasn't really feelin' the Webkins' love. He let his sisters bask in the fun on this one.
